01. Overview & Scope

What this Refund Policy covers

This Refund Policy explains how Accountificial evaluates and processes refund requests for services purchased directly from our team. It is intended to provide practical clarity before and after purchase.

Unless otherwise stated in a signed custom agreement, this policy applies to subscriptions, advisory retainers, and service packages billed by Accountificial. Platform charges from third-party vendors are governed by those vendors' own billing terms.

This policy does not remove any non-waivable consumer rights available under applicable law. Where law provides stronger customer protection, legal requirements will prevail.

Scope checklist

  • Covers only invoices and payments made directly to Accountificial.

  • Applies to first-time and recurring billing unless superseded by contract.

  • Requires verifiable order details and requestor identity.

  • Interpreted together with service proposal, invoice terms, and signed statements of work.

  • Refund amounts, if approved, are assessed net of applicable taxes and non-recoverable payment gateway deductions where permitted.

For faster support, include your invoice number and payment date in the first message.

02. Eligibility for Refunds

When a refund request may be approved

We review each request fairly and case-by-case. In general, refunds are more likely to be approved when a legitimate billing error, duplicate charge, or service-delivery gap is clearly documented.

Duplicate payment

If the same invoice is charged more than once, we can issue a full duplicate-payment reversal after verification.

Billing system error

If an internal billing misconfiguration causes an incorrect debit, we correct the charge and process an appropriate refund.

Undelivered paid scope

Where paid deliverables were not started or cannot be delivered due to Accountificial-side constraints, partial or full refunds may apply.

Timely notice

Requests submitted promptly (typically within 7 calendar days of the relevant charge) are easier to validate and resolve quickly.

Verified account ownership

We may request identity or company verification to protect customers against unauthorized refund activity.

Documented evidence

Receipts, invoice IDs, date stamps, and relevant communication logs help accelerate decision quality.

Common details to include in your request

  • Full name and registered email
  • Invoice number and transaction ID
  • Payment date and amount
  • Clear reason for refund request
  • Screenshots or relevant correspondence
  • Preferred callback number if urgent
03. Non-Refundable Situations

Cases where refunds are typically not available

To protect service integrity and billing fairness, the following scenarios are generally excluded from refund approval unless required by law or specifically guaranteed in writing.

Change of mind after meaningful delivery

Refunds are generally not issued when services have already been substantially delivered and accepted, including completed advisory sessions or finalized deliverables.

Delay caused by incomplete client inputs

If required documents, approvals, or data were not provided on time by the client, resulting delays do not typically qualify for a refund.

Third-party platform or gateway fees

Charges collected by external software providers, banks, or payment gateways may be non-refundable through Accountificial and must follow the third-party provider's policy.

Contracted one-time setup already executed

Where onboarding, migration, or setup work has been completed as agreed, those completed portions are usually non-refundable.

Policy abuse or fraudulent claims

Requests involving false representations, chargeback abuse, or manipulated records may be rejected and escalated for compliance review.

Expired request windows

Requests received significantly beyond reasonable reporting windows may not be approved due to verification limitations.

Note: If you believe your case is exceptional, submit full context and documentation. Accountificial may evaluate exceptions in good faith.

04. Request Process & Timelines

How to request a refund

To maintain speed and fairness, every request follows a transparent review path. Timelines below are indicative and may vary in high-volume periods.

Acknowledgement

We generally confirm receipt within 2 business days and may request additional records if details are incomplete.

Internal review

Our team reviews service logs, billing records, contract commitments, and communication history. Standard review target: 5 business days after all required details are received.

Decision notification

You receive a written update indicating approval, partial approval, rejection with reasons, or a request for clarification.

Refund execution

Approved refunds are initiated to the original payment method, subject to banking and gateway settlement cycles.

Tips for faster resolution

  • Include complete information in the first message.
  • Use the same email/phone linked to the purchase account.
  • Reply promptly if additional documentation is requested.

05. Processing Time and Method

When funds are returned after approval

Once approved, refunds are initiated using the original payment route whenever possible. Actual credit timelines depend on bank networks, card issuers, and gateway settlement standards.

Credit / Debit Card

5–10 business days

Timeline may vary by issuing bank and statement cycle cut-off.

UPI / Net Banking

3–7 business days

Most domestic transfers settle faster, subject to banking holidays and transaction status.

Bank Transfer / Wire

7–14 business days

International transfers may require additional intermediary bank processing.

Method & amount notes

  • Refunds are returned to the original funding source where possible.

  • Partial refunds may apply when a portion of scope has already been delivered.

  • Any non-recoverable third-party fees may be excluded where legally permitted.

  • You may request a refund confirmation record for your accounting file.

If the original payment method is unavailable due to expiration or closure, Accountificial may coordinate an alternate compliant payout route.
